Anthony Bartkowski brings nearly 20 years of event management, marketing and communications experience to 776 Original Marketing, including current clients USA Archery, USA Boxing, U.S. Fencing Association, USA Table Tennis and the 2010 Archery World Cup. Prior to serving as an independent consultant, Bartkowski held positions with ESPN, USA Hockey, USA Boxing, Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, USA Wrestling and USA Weightlifting.

Bartkowski has a wealth of experience in developing, bidding and managing successful sporting events, including: U.S. Boxing National Championships (2006, 2010); National Finals Rodeo (1999-2004); ProRodeo Tour championships (2001-04); the first-ever Dave Schultz Memorial International; and numerous USA Wrestling age-group national championships (1997-99).

As the Director, Communications for ESPN Outdoors and BASS, he was responsible for executing a successful communications plan around the Bassmaster Classic that resulted in 320 media members attending and delivering over $8.2 million in coverage. He received the APEX Award of Excellence for the 2009 BASS Media Guide.

Prior to ESPN, Bartkowski was the Manager, Sponsor Services for USA Hockey, where he assisted in the overall development of sponsorship deliverables for the popular 2010 Qwest Women’s Hockey Tour.

He was the Manager of Events and Sponsorships with the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association for almost six years, 1999-2005, where he oversaw all championship rodeo event logistics and planning, as well as activating nearly $24 million in sponsorship contracts. He initiated many sponsor deliverables and helped create the Pro Rodeo Zone sponsor showcase.  The Zone at the 2000 National Finals Rodeo was supported by five sponsors and expanded to 16 units in 2004.

Previously, he was the USA Wrestling Manager of National Events (1997-99), USA Weightlifting Director of Communications (1996-97) and USA Wrestling Manager of Communications (1993-96). He also held a public relations internship with the NFL’s Buffalo Bills from 1991-93.

Bartkowski is also a professional fly fishing guide in Colorado and was recently named the Flyfisher Guide Service 2009 Guide of the Year. He graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in communications and participated in wrestling, where he was coached by four-time Olympic medalist Bruce Baumgartner. He and his wife, Kim, reside in Colorado Springs, Colo.
