Jim Grice, Managing Partner, Sales and Licensing


Jim Grice was most recently the founder and President of G5 Marketing located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Grice has spent the past 20 years in the sports marketing industry and his professional experience includes roles with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). Grice held the position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at the PBR and held a number of different positions with the USOC including Managing Director of Sales, Chief of Sales & Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer. As Chief Marketing Officer for the USOC, his professional accomplishments include the generation of nearly $600 million dollars for the 2005-2008 quadrennium, which represented the most financially successful quadrennium in the history of the organization. In total, Grice has led or contributed to the generation of $2 billion dollars in marketing revenues during his professional career.

During his tenure at the U.S. Olympic Committee, Grice was also responsible for the continued development and management of the USOC's licensing initiatives, e-commerce activities, and the organization’s retail and catalog programs. Additionally, Grice was responsible for the management of the USOC'sís Broadcast Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Marketing and Event Services and Brand Management departments.

Prior to coming to the USOC, Grice was the athletic director and varsity soccer coach at the Vail Mountain School. He graduated from Colorado College in 1986 with a degree in business & economics. While in college, Grice played soccer and was named to the 1986 All Far West Division III Team and was selected as his team’s Most Valuable Player. He also played for the U.S. National Soccer Team from 1983-84.
